Laura is very knowledgeable & works very hard with me, teaching me new techniques that I can use in my everyday life to help me along my journey. With Laura's help, I have been able to open up & talk to her, my family, friends & coworkers about my past & things that are going on in my life now. Laura has helped me to get my life back, she has taught me not to be afraid & that's its ok to trust people. Laura is there when I need her. But most importantly, Laura has taught me that scars remind us of where we've been, they don't have to dictate where we are going.
I have been a regular client of Laura’s since 2005. Through the years I have been able to grow as a person learning new skills involving listening, communicating, understanding and acceptance in relationships. I feel that I am a better individual due to her professional feedback and accomplishments. She has also been able to share up-to-date techniques for relationship building, self-worth and a variety of other areas I have struggled with. Laura's personal recommendations of resources and books have been extremely helpful when I am unable to meet with her on consistent basis.
Three years ago I met Laura Pryor as my family therapist at a treatment center for addiction. Shortly after arriving she began working with me and my children. I immediately started to see results from her care for others and knew that I was in the right hands. After leaving the treatment center I maintained our counseling relationship. With the use of her expertise in counseling I have been able to find my true self as well as different skills from parenting to being able to form lasting and meaningful relationships with all types of people. The connection that we have today is extremely comforting, trusting, and I would not change any part of it. She truly is a valuable asset to our community.
